Jesus has risen

Newsflash! Newsflash! Jesus of Nazareth has risen from the dead!

Yesterday three women named Mary Magdalene, Mary, and Salome were heading to Jesus’ tomb to anoint him with their spices and oils.

On the way to the tomb the three women were asking each other “Who is going to roll the big stone away?” The women thought there might be already someone there.

As the women approached the tomb they saw a man sitting down near the tomb wearing a white robe. The man said “Go and tell the disciples this message,” He is going to Galilee ahead of you just as he told you.”

Straight away the women ran to the disciples to tell them the message. The women reported they were very distressed and terrified.
