On Tuesday the school will get a plate to put our food in.
On Wednesday Mr Kaa and Mr Humm will put the Kai (food) in the hangi at 8am in the morning! The Kai needs to cook for about three to four hours.
We will have our lunch at one o’clock in the afternoon.
Before we have our Kai we will have a powhiri. During a powhiri we have a Karanga. A Karanga is a call to tell the manuhiri (guests) that the can come onto our marae (school grounds). Also we have a mihi (speeches) from Mr Forde. Some children from Rooms 7, 8 and 9 will hongi our manuhiri to say that you are not our manuhiri anymore you are know part of us.
