White Sunday
White Sunday it is a special day. Lotu Tamaiti means White Sunday.
Adults usually come first and are in charge but on White Sunday kids come first and take charge and they also run the Church service.
The children practice for weeks.
In the morning they get into their new white clothes.
The children practice before they meet with the rest of the children. They walk in a parade to the village church and they sing beautiful songs and say the Bible verses they memorised. They also put on a play and then their parents put on a big feast for the boys and girls. They can’t wait for next White Sunday.
