Inquiry Term 2

Hi Room 9,
We are beginning our new Inquiry Unit this week. The Big Question is “Why do people all over the world participate in cultural activities? To begin this unit it would be fun to find out about our family, class and school culture. One of the first step to this is to discover where some of the traditions and rituals we have come from. My family celebrate St Nicholas’ Day and love drop ( Dutch liquorice ) because some of our ancestors come from the Netherlands. What traditions and rituals does your family have? Where do your ancestors come from? You might locate these countries on a map. Find your family crests…..
