TIMELINE
GOING FURTHER

On Friday the 24th of August Room 9 started to make a Time- line to tell how the 1984 flood happened. We all had to copy and draw one picture. It was easy to copy a picture but after that we had to dye the picture. It was easy making the timeline. I loved it when we put it all together. Some people weren’t here when we made the timelime but they still made a picture. We made it to tell people about the 1984 flood happened.

In the Invercargill flood the fire fighters had to rescue people. The water was rising and the people had no choice. They had to evacuate.

Timeline
Last Friday Room 9 started a timeline about the 1984 flood. We made pictures for it. The reason we made the timeline was to tell people what happened in the 1984 flood. We discovered that it rained really hard and there was no wind. It rained all over Southland. It all got pushed into the rivers! I know the flood got 3 metres high. The airport was flooded and was 1 metre high I think.
