What Sayings Mean.


   
 These are sayings we discovered when we were reading.

When you look at a glass do you see it half full or half empty?   
It means: Look at the good side of things not the bad side.
People who live in glasshouses shouldn’t throw bricks.
It means: Don’t judge other people when you’re doing it yourself.


A bird in the hand is better than the one in the bush.
It means: Look at what you have not what you haven’t got.

Get your nose out of it.
It means: stop being nosy.


Buy some timber, billed a bridge and get over it.
It means: Get over it.

Yesterday’s history tomorrows a mystery.
What it means: What happened yesterday is history but we don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow so it’s a mystery.
