Making the costumes was not easy!!
We had so many to make, for our domestic appliance zone in our school production Moving On!!!
We had washing machines, dryers, microwaves, flat screen TV’s, a fridge etc. They were all made from just a plain cardboard boxes can you believe that?!
Here are the steps for most of the costumes:
1. Find a medium sized box.
2. Cut the holes in the box so it looks like the appliance.
3. Paint the box white. You need to do about 2 coats or keep going till the writing on the box is gone.
4. Paint the box however you want.
5. Now you have a domestic appliance costume!
The costumes took roughly about 5 weeks but they turn out fab! Well done, guys!!!
