HOW WE DESIGNED THE COSTUMES
Two weeks ago we began to design the costumes for the Production.
Firstly we planned the costumes in our Inquiry Books.
Room 9 had to label, draw and colour their costumes for Miss Lewis.
We looked at Briar’s costumes and the class gave her feedback about her costumes. We used the Thinking Hats.
The Weaknesses of Briar’s Star costume were that:
1. You couldn’t move,in it.
2. You couldn’t put your hands down in the costume
3. It would be hard to get into the costume and it would be hard to make.
Next we told Briar about the strengths of the star costumes:
1. It would look great.
2. It would stands out and people would know what you were.
Then we used the green hat and thought about new ideas for the costumes.
We thought that we could wear Canterbury pants for the dance because they won’t slip. We thought we could make cardboard masks, use face paint or maybe shiny glitter.
This is the process we went through to design the costumes.

COSTUME
We are making some of these costumes for our production! Like a
a girl dancers’ costume.
This is how you make it.
What you need: black shirt, skirt, leggings, shoes & a sheet.
1. You get a white sheet so you can make the. “We will rock you” sign for the
back of your T-shirt.
2. You get a black skirt with pleats.
3. You get a black top with short sleeves.
4. Make sure you have a belt for the skirt or it might fall off.
5. Then have some black leggings for the skirt
6. For the shoes you need a pointy edge and a little heel at the end.
We think that this costume will look dazzling on the night
