SHARKS
I heard the sound of the ball echoing in my ears.
I am talking about how the Sharks came to Sacred Heart School. Their names were Brian, Ethan, Kevin and Garreth. They taught us some basketball drills. We also learned some new games.
One of the games was called Golden Child. It is a game all about dribbling speed and shooting. How the game works is this there are two teams. One team is dribbling and the other team is shooting. One team chooses someone to go last who is known as the Golden Child.
3! 2! 1! GOOO my heart was racing as I shot the ball in to the basket "STOP!" my team yelled. The dribbler stopped looking very disappointed.
Then there was "Ship Shark Shore" which is a game of reflex, speed and memory. The Sharks decidedd which place which. But no matter what, shark was always the same action. In the end it was nearly always a girl vs boy, so in the end it was like a war zone. It was always exciting who would win.
We all loved it a lot. We learned games we didn't know. We also learned different shooting techniques. It was really fun and the whole school liked it. GO THE SHARKS.
