Mr Kerr turns all the power on and off.
How much money is it for a space suit?
5 million dollars!
Solar panels absorb energy and that energy is used by the Space Station to fly around the sun.
The astronauts have to exercise A LOT!!!
This keeps their muscles strong.
The Solar panels on the Space Station are half the size of a rugby field.
There are many different parts of Space Station and they are owned and looked after by different countries.
The power box is a metre long.
When the Space Station is behind the earth there is the temperature is – 40 degrees Celius and when it is on the other side of the earth facing the sun the temperature is
– 40 degrees Celius
There next step is to be able to grow plants in space so that the astronauts will have food to eat when the travel to Mars because it takes 18 months to get there from earth.
