We have just received some Breaking News!!!

Mr Kerr has just visited Sacred Heart School with some amazing new facts about space that will blow your mind!!!!

Did you know that the Space Station can travel from Sacred Heart School to the Invercargill airport in less than 3 seconds!!! Now that’s a true fact!!!

In the astronaut community to become a proper astronaut you have to go through 4 years of intense training and you have to get a university degree and then a Doctorate degree. You also have to go through a test, which involves spinning very fast and if you can pass all of that without throwing up you might just turn out to be an astronaut. 

Mr Kerr also told us that 1 astronaut suit costs 5 million dollars (that’s a lot of cash) and if you go into the ozone layer on the wrong angle your rocket or shuttle will catch fire ahhhhhhh!!!!!

To dispose of the Space Station rubbish the earth crew sends up a mini rocket for the astronauts to put their food scraps in, but it also sends up food, once the people on board have put their rubbish in the Rubbish Transporter and  it automatically goes down to earth but goes on a big angle so it catches fire and burns fiercely disposing all of the rubbish.
