HOT CHOCOLATE BOMB
Wow look at that baby go! It’s frothing over the top.

In Term 4 2009, we did some incredible experiments. One was the baking soda hot chocolate. The ingredients were baking soda and vinegar. What we had to do was put the vinegar into the cup and then put in the baking soda and see what happens………. The baking soda and vinegar make a chemical reaction that made the vinegar and baking soda froth so much it went over the top of the beaker

The more baking soda you put in the more froth there is. If you put a brand new packet all in it would be a really big explosion.


It was an awesome experiment. We think you should try it!
We wonder what would happen if you heat the vinegar and the baking soda? We think if it would probably explode and that would badL. The baking soda experiment was a success


We think the hot chocolate is a really cool experiment you can see the baking soda and the vinegar froth over the top and after we got to taste it J and it didn’t taste like a hot chocolate. In fact it wasn’t sweet at all.
