Parent Night

A few things that people have asked me about since I put the class newsletter out.

Library day is Friday.

Sports gear Monday & Friday but this is flexible and will not be on these days when we are swimming.

It is a good idea for the girls to wear shorts under their pinafores.

News: This will be a learning curve for all of us. Have a look at what is already in the book and remember it is okay as long as they give it a go. It is their homework and they will get to see how others do it and will model off that.

Spelling this is a new programme. We have just finished testing and are in the process of ordering books. So the children may not have words to learn till week 4. These words are for a fortnight as there are activities with them that the children will do during school time.

Reading Log: I would appreciate it if you could write the title of the book your child reads each night and date it.

Clear File:
We will be working on goal setting throughout the year. Could your child please have a clear file for these so we can keep a record of their goals and how they achieve these.
