HOW STUDENTS LEARNT ABOUT SPACE

In 1969 students at Sacred Heart School were listening to Neil Armstrong landing on the moon by radio. In 2012 we watched Curiosity the Space Robot Rover land on Mars on the Interactive White-board. It was sent via the Internet.

 What’s the difference between 1969 & 2012 technology?

1969 radios were the main technology to use when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon because only some rich people had TV’s. In 1969 the teachers would turn on the radio at a certain time and there was a song on like [La Cucaracha] or [donna donna]

I bet that if we play a song from 1969 they would probably remember that song.
