In Room 9 we have been learning about our
ancestors. My Great Great Granmother had a garnet ring. It’s pretty old and it
pretty big I love trying it on. Oh and did I say that it is still in the
original box.

The medals are my Great Nana’s she was in World
War II. She was either a nurse or a cook. The two medals on the outside are the
Cumming and McKay family crest.
I have a picture of my great great grandparents
Sarah and Archie Howie. They were married in 1911 in Wellington.
