Today’s the day, the day they come?

Today the sharks are coming to teach us some skills about basketball. They are new the Southland Basketball Team that is competing in the NBL. Today we meet one guy his name is James and he comes from the North Island.

When the Sharks came we were ready to go until Richard started picking on Keegan and Georgia. You’re probably wondering who Richard is. He is the coach of the Sharks and the Southland Development Officer. When we had to dribble back and forwards he said silly stuff like goat or boy.

When we wore shooting we had to imagine that there was a transformer or fairies on top of the hoop. James is really tall. He is as tall as the hoop at our school.

There is a game were you have to be on the painted lines and you aren’t allowed to go on the concrete. We had to go back and forwards and we were not allowed to walk or run [it was really hard for Keegan and Georgia].
